Program Notes

Composer John Zdechlik gives us another fantastic composition in Windsong. This moving, reflective piece features his signature chorale style, and flowing melodic lines. Expressive and nuanced playing will only enhance the beauty of this accessible work.

Windsong was commissioned in honor of Miles H. Johnson, founding conductor, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Minnesota Symphonic Winds.
