Program Notes

Bridgewater Breeze was commissioned by Timothy Reynish and the Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on November 27, 1996. The work is a transcription of Gorb's "Suite for Winds." The five movements of the piece can be performed together or seperately at the discretion of the conductor.
